MING LAMPSON
Ming Lampson, London-based goldsmith-jeweller learnt her craft and nurtured her passion in Jaipur in the mid-90s, and opened her atelier in London’s Notting Hill in 2007. With her workshop on site, she specialises in bespoke commissions, carefully composed with depths of meanings and symbols to express her clients’ personalities, so that individual statement jewels are her stock in trade. Her themed collections, based on the romantic exoticism of Asia and India include the Lake Palace bangle, inspired by the opulence of Udaipur palaces. Polished gold reflects like water, while lace-like cut outs lure the eye with glimpses of hidden secrets.
